With 17 years of experience as a Chief Facilities Officer, I have effectively led teams of up to 750 members, managed budgets totalling $41.5 million, and supervised $350 million in capital projects. My experience and singular focus on universities, colleges, and polytechnics enable me to provide customized solutions for the post-secondary environment that align with institutional objectives and enhance student success metrics. I work closely with internal teams that often have the necessary expertise but not the time to focus on longer-term organizational improvements. Leveraging specialized knowledge and external insights can significantly boost results and improve delivery speed. I know this from first-hand experience leading my own large FM operations.
Along with an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan, I hold three professional certifications in facilities management (CFM, CEFP, FRICS) and one in management consulting (CMC). I've honed my executive leadership and strategy skills at Cornell, the London School of Economics, INSEAD, and HEC Paris.

In 2000, I qualified as a Certified Management Consultant with a tie for the second-highest score in Canada. In 2023 I was made a Fellow by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors where I am recognized as a Chartered Facilities Management Professional (Surveyor).
